Over 160,000 pounds of a popular frozen pizza product sold at local and national retailers including Walmart, Lidl and Dollar General are being recalled due to contamination, the U.S. Food & Drug Administration (FDA) reported.

Farm Rich Pizza Cheese Crunchers are being voluntarily recalled by Rich Products Corporation due to the possibility that the products contain metal pieces. The FDA has deemed this as a Class II recall, meaning that the use of or exposure to the product may cause temporary or medically reversible adverse health consequences.

The product was distributed in the following states: Texas, Maryland, Missouri, New York, Arkansas, Florida, New Jersey, Tennessee, Alabama, Ohio, Kentucky, Pennsylvania, North Carolina, South Carolina, Kansas, Michigan, Iowa, Indiana, Wisconsin, Georgia and California.
